House of Prayer

Every September

The House of Prayer (HOP) is a labor of love developed to bring spiritual support to Florida Hospital's Focus Week as well as be a "prayer" focused area where anyone can come to pray and spend time with God 24/7 for two weeks. The House of Prayer is lovingly supported by the Spiritual Ambassador ministry with Spiritual Ambassadors providing the decorations, programming and organization of the two week event. All are welcome to the House of Prayer.

The House of Prayer is located at Florida Hospital Orlando in the main Chapel. Each year a theme is chosen and the House of Prayer is decorated to reflect that theme.

It is our hope and desire to "blanket" Focus Week and the HOP with prayer. Spiritual Ambassadors (and anyone else desiring to do so) are encouraged to sign up to pray for our institution, our employees, patients and all others within our walls during this special time.

We are also asking for Spiritual Ambassadors to participate during the two weeks by offering to sing, play an instrument, read scripture and greet.
