Care to SHARE

Care to SHARE is a one time employee assistance program for employees who find themselves in a sudden, unexpected financial emergency through no fault of their own. To apply, you must be an employee of Florida Hospital for at least 90 days, be in good standing with the hospital and your department (because your supervisor with be contacted), and have exhausted all other resources available to you (such as family, friends, church, etc...) before applying to the Care to SHARE program.

Applications may be picked up at any Florida Hospital Human Resources office and/or Administration Office at the satellite campuses. Applications may also be faxed or emailed upon request to applicants. All applications must be turned in with a copy of your most recent paycheck stub. A committee meets once a week to review the applications. If you are approved, the applicant is assisted with a limited amount of money for their emergency. The types of assistance provided for are rent/ mortgage payments, utility bills, medications, car payment/ car insurance and health benefits. NO CAR REPAIRS WILL BE PAID AT ANY TIME.

If the need is beyond the Care to SHARE committee limit, you will be directed to other community sources that are able to assist you in other ways.
